Evesham Recovery Services
24-hour breakdown recovery and vehicle transport across the Vale of Evesham.
About this project
A slow tour of the live site. Hover to pause.
When your car stops at the side of the road, you are not browsing. You want a phone number, and you want to know the person on the end of it knows what they are doing. That was the whole brief for Evesham Recovery Services: a website that turns a bad moment into a quick phone call.
So the number sits in the header of every page, repeated as a big tap-friendly button wherever somebody is likely to have made up their mind. The accreditations, the insurance and the Google rating sit right under the headline, because a stranded driver needs reassurance before anything else. We designed and built the site, and it is hosted and looked after on our own webserver.
What the site includes
- A tap-to-call phone number in the header of every page, with the recovery service's hours shown alongside it.
- Six service pages covering emergency breakdown recovery, accident recovery, vehicle transportation, classic and performance cars, specialist winching, and roadside assistance.
- Eleven area pages for the towns and roads the business covers, including Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Pershore, the Cotswolds and the M5 and M42.
- Accreditations and trust signals (PAS 43, ISO 9001, IMI-trained operators, fully insured) presented on every page rather than buried in an about section.
- Genuine customer reviews from Google and Facebook, alongside photographs of the firm's own trucks on real call-outs.
- Search-engine structured data throughout: business details, opening hours, the areas served and a frequently-asked-questions section.
- Built mobile-first, because most people who need a recovery truck are holding a phone at the time.
